About Total Concepts International Inc.
Total Concepts Inc. (TCI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs, youth, and underrepresented communities through various programs. Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to become successful entrepreneurs and leaders. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world business experiences, we aim to cultivate innovation, resilience, and financial literacy. Our program is dedicated to fostering a generation of confident, goal-oriented, and socially responsible entrepreneurs who will drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
There are currently four programs under TCI's Umbrella: The Triad Business Expo, Youth Entrepreneur Academy, Inc., KidzBiz Entrepreneurial Training, and Core Essentials. Each of these programs highlighted further below align with TCI’s mission to uplift and support minority entrepreneurs, young business minds, and individuals seeking to improve their professional and personal lives.
The Triad Business Expo
This annual event serves as a dynamic platform for businesses, entrepreneurs, and emerging business leaders to showcase their products and services, build meaningful connections, and expand their reach. The Triad Business Expo provides valuable networking opportunities, business development resources, and exposure to potential clients, partners, investors, and community stakeholders.
Through engaging workshops, interactive panel discussions, and access to experienced business professionals and industry leaders, the Expo equips attendees with practical tools and strategies to support business growth, sustainability, innovation, and long-term success.
Youth Entrepreneur Academy Inc.
This program is designed to educate, inspire, and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, young people are introduced to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, leadership, innovation, and building a successful business.
Participants have opportunities to turn their ideas into action by developing business concepts, creating business plans, learning how to market their products and services, and practicing how to confidently pitch their ideas. They also gain valuable insight and mentorship from established entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders who share real-world experiences and lessons learned.
More than just learning about business, the program encourages young people to think creatively, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and see entrepreneurship as a pathway to creating opportunities for themselves and their communities.
KidzBiz Entrepreneurial Training
KidzBiz is an exciting, hands-on entrepreneurship program designed to introduce children to the world of business in a fun, creative, and age-appropriate way. Through interactive activities and real-world experiences, participants learn essential skills including money management, product development, marketing, customer service, sales, and the fundamentals of starting and operating a business.
KidzBiz encourages young entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into action while strengthening creativity, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and self-confidence. Participants have opportunities to develop their own business concepts, showcase their products and ideas, and experience what it means to be a young business owner.
By planting the seeds of entrepreneurship early, KidzBiz helps young people discover their potential, develop valuable life skills, and understand that great ideas can become great opportunities.
CORE ESSENTIALS
CORE ESSENTIALS is a dynamic life skills and personal development program designed to equip young people with the practical tools, confidence, and knowledge needed to succeed in school, the workplace, and everyday life.
Through engaging and interactive experiences, participants strengthen essential skills in leadership, effective communication, financial literacy, personal branding, career readiness, goal setting, decision-making, and professional development.
CORE ESSENTIALS goes beyond preparing young people for their first job or career. The program encourages participants to recognize their strengths, develop a positive personal identity, communicate with confidence, make responsible financial decisions, and begin creating a vision for their future.
By connecting personal development with real-world skills, CORE ESSENTIALS helps prepare the next generation to lead with confidence, make informed decisions, pursue opportunities, and build a strong foundation for lifelong personal and professional success.
